About the trip

Looking for a Harry Potter like landscape? No, you don’t have to go all the way to New Zealand!
The lush green environs, scraggy mountains, gushing streams and snow capped peaks of Har-ki-Dun provide the same inexplicable landscape for you to devour! Tucked away in the Western Garhwal Himalayas, at the base of the Fateh Parvat, this valley is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. Located south-east of Jaundar glacier, it is completely covered by a blanket of blue and purple flowers in the season.  To add to the glorious flora, the adjoining Govind Wildlife Sanctuary is replete with wildlife and exotic birds. The main snow clad peaks visible from here are Swarga-Rohini, Bandarpunch and Kala Nag.

This is what we call a ‘complete trek’! It takes you through some beautiful alpine meadows, get to sight a few big Himalayan peaks, walk by streams and rivers and get upclose with the local culture amidst some remote villages en-route!

Note: A detailed packing list will be shared with you once you have signed up for the trip.
