Paddle your weekend away into the unknown
..............................................................................................................................................
Set up your own time for a private lesson with our instructors. Learn flat-water skills, in a canoe or a kayak to take on an independent expedition on a river, lake or just a weekend getaway! Beginners and Intermediate paddlers welcome. Maximum group size 16.
Introductory Flat-water Course:
Our flat-water courses are designed for the beginner to intermediate level canoeist/kayaker. Course material assumes knowledge of canoeing or kayaking, and starts with fundamentals. Skills are taught in tandem canoes, and partners will switch from bow to stern throughout the day to learn both positions. Paddlers looking for basic flat-water skills to feel comfortable paddling around lakes or those pursuing a longer canoe trip on slow moving rivers will find this course appealing.
Instructors:
Instructors are skilled paddlers and patient teachers. They take you through the steps in a logical progression so you continue to use and build upon new skills. This is a non-certification course.
Safety:
For all courses we cover basic safety aspects and use appropriate quality certified equipment to make your learning a safe experience. Most items are listed in the logical sequence for learning, as many skills combine different elements of the course. Two full days on the water is usually sufficient to cover all the material in either discipline (canoe & kayak).
Accommodation and Meals:
Accommodation will be provided by “Riveredge Paradise Resort” either in cabins or luxury campsites, and includes two buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners each.
Program Costs:
Above 2-day program will cost Rs 3000.00 per person with stay in cabins on twin sharing.
